HORIZONTAL TRANSFER APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Our university's 2022-2023 Academic Year Fall Semester Horizontal Transfer Applications within the framework of the quotas specified in the attachment; Associate and Bachelor's Degree Programs horizontal transfer applications will be made ONLINE (online) at https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YatayGecisBasvuruFormu/KullaniciGirisi, and application documents will be uploaded to the application form at the relevant extension during the application.

(There is no need to apply in person or by mail in addition to the online application)

HORIZONTAL TRANSFER APPLICATIONS:

·         With General Weighted Grade Point Average; Inter-Institutional (Domestic) Same Program,

·         With General Weighted Grade Point Average from Foreign Higher Education institutions for T.C. national students; Inter-Institutional (Abroad) Same Program,

·         With General Weighted Grade Point Average; Intra-Institutional Same Program,

·         With Central Placement Score ( ADDITIONAL Article 1); Same or Different Program is done.

APPLICATION DATES:

·    With General Weighted Grade Point Average (GPA) “Domestic”, “Abroad” and “Intra-Institutional” horizontal transfer applications will be made between July 18 – August 12, 2022.

·    With Central Placement Score (ADDITIONAL ARTICLE-1) horizontal transfer applications to the same or different program will be made between August 1 – 12, 2022 .

Our university is authorized to take necessary legal actions against candidates who register by making false statements.

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS:

·         ÖSYM Result Document showing the YGS, LYS or YKS Placement Results and All Score Types submitted by the student during admission to the university, (for Additional Article-1 applications),

·         Student Status Document obtained from the higher education institution where the student is enrolled or via the e-government platform (can be QR coded, e-signed, or wet signed),

·         Approved or QR coded transcript showing all courses taken by the student up to the semester they wish to transfer, excluding the preparatory class (Documents in a foreign language must be translated into Turkish.),

·         Preparatory class students or students who freeze registration must document their status,

·     Official document showing that students in the second education program are in the top ten percent at the end of the relevant academic semester,

·         Approved or QR coded Course Contents (course curriculum), (Students who do not submit course contents will be adapted to the first year.)

·         Document regarding whether a disciplinary penalty has been received,

·         For applications from Foreign Higher Education Institutions, the central placement score in the valid score type for the diploma program they wish to transfer to, for programs where success ranking is not required, must be equal to or higher than the lowest base score of equivalent diploma programs in other universities in the country,

·         Document Stating There is No Obstacle to Horizontal Transfer (Will be brought at final registration.) the original of the specified application documents are mandatory documents to be presented during application and registration.
