Detailed information and documents that will guide and inform our university students and guest students who want to take courses from our university's summer school are included in the attached files, and it will be beneficial for our students who will apply to CAREFULLY examine and read them.
It is strongly announced to all students who will apply.
- In the 2022 Summer School, the courses “Atatürk's Principles and History of Reforms I-II”, ”Turkish Language I-II”, “Foreign Language (English) I-II” will be conducted through distance education method; all other courses will be conducted through face-to-face education method. However, the midterm and end of summer school (final) exams of all courses will be conducted face-to-face. The exam format of the courses conducted through the distance education method will be determined by the instructor and announced to the students in advance according to the determined schedule.
- The courses “Atatürk's Principles and History of Reforms I-II”, ”Turkish Language I -II”, “Foreign Language (English) I-II” taught in our university units and the formation courses taught in the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Sports Sciences, and Faculty of Theology will be opened within the MAKÜ Faculty of Education if sufficient quota is provided in the 2022 Summer School applications.
- Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Bucak Faculty of Business Administration, and Bucak Zeliha Tolunay School of Applied Technology and Business Administration will indicate in the attached table which unit the common courses to be opened will be conducted.
- MAKÜ students who want to take courses from our university's 2022 Summer School can select courses online through “ÖBS” and take courses.
- Students registered at other universities can apply from the address https://obs.mehmetakif.edu.tr/oibs/summer_app/ and take courses as guest students through the address https://obs.mehmetakif.edu.tr/ with the student number and password sent to their email addresses. (The passwords and student numbers of the applicants will be sent to the email addresses they specified in the application within 24 hours, and if the information does not arrive at the email address after this period, information can be obtained via email from yazokulu@mehmetakif.edu.tr.)
- In the course registration processes of our university students and guest students, they must select courses through the Student Information System (ÖBS); then deposit the student fee with their student numbers at “Vakıfbank” ATMs or branches and finalize the courses they selected through ÖBS with the Course Registration Finalization process. The help document related to the subject can be accessed from the “Summer School Flow Chart” in the 2022 Summer School announcement (https://www.mehmetakif.edu.tr/duyurular ) .
- A MAKÜ student, in case the course not opened in the unit they are registered in is opened in another unit within the university, can apply without losing rights from the address https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YazOkuluBasvuruFormu/?YOBF=MAKU, provided that summer school courses are not opened in our university's faculties/schools/conservatories/vocational schools, and apply with the application form from the address https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YazOkuluBasvuruFormu/?YOBF=DIGER and the application must also be DEFINITELY approved by the Unit Administrative Board they are registered in.
