HORIZONTAL TRANSFER APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Horizontal transfer applications within the framework of quotas will be made ONLINE to ASSOCIATE and BACHELOR Degree Programs between July 20 - August 17, 2020, at https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YatayGecisBasvuruFormu, and the requested documents will be uploaded to the system during the application.
THERE IS NO NEED TO APPLY IN PERSON OR BY MAIL.
- With General Weighted Grade Point Average Between Institutions (Domestic) To the Same Program,
- With General Weighted Grade Point Average From Foreign Higher Education Institutions, T.C. national students Between Institutions (Abroad) To the Same Program,
- With General Weighted Grade Point Average Within the Institution To the Same Program,
- With Central Placement Score (Additional Article 1) Application is made to a Different Program.
- With General Weighted Grade Point Average, Domestic, Abroad, and Within the Institution horizontal transfer applications are made between July 20 - August 17, 2020.
- With Central Placement Score (Additional Article-1) horizontal transfer applications to a Different Program are made between August 01-15, 2020.
Our university is authorized to take necessary legal actions against candidates who register by making false statements.
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
Ø The ÖSYM Result Document showing the YGS, LYS, or YKS Placement Results (All score types) submitted by the student during admission to the university, (for Additional Article-1 applications)
Ø Student Status Document obtained from the higher education institution where the student is registered,
Ø An official document showing the names, credits, and success grades of all courses taken by the student up to the term they wish to transfer to, excluding the preparatory class, and the weighted grade point average according to the credits (grade sheet/grade transcript/transcript). (Documents in foreign languages must be translated into Turkish.)
Ø Students who have studied in the preparatory class or have frozen their registration must document their status,
Ø An official document showing that the student studying in the second education program and ranked in the top ten percent at the end of the relevant academic semester is in the top ten percent,
Ø Approved or course contents included in the university's ECTS information package (course curriculum), (Students who do not submit course contents will be adapted to the first year.)
Ø Document regarding whether the student has received any disciplinary punishment,
Ø In applications made from foreign higher education institutions, for programs where success ranking is not required, the central placement score in the valid score type for the diploma program they wish to transfer to must be equal to or higher than the lowest base score of equivalent diploma programs in other universities in the country,
Ø Document stating that there is no obstacle to horizontal transfer. (To be submitted at final registration.)
