Announcement Regarding the Participation of Students Who Could Not Attend Midterm Exams in Fall Semester End-of-Semester and Make-up Exams

In our university, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, an amendment was made in the Regulation on Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination with the Official Gazette dated 10/07/2019 and numbered 30827. With the amendment made, the condition "It is mandatory to participate in the midterm exam/exams held during the semester/year of the course." was introduced. However, based on the information received by our Rectorate, it was understood that students were not aware of the amendment made in the regulation and did not participate in the midterm exams. In order to prevent students who did not/could not participate in the midterm exam/exams of the Fall Semester of the 2019-2020 Academic Year from extending their term and being aggrieved, with the decision of our University Senate dated 29.11.2019 and numbered 373/3, they were allowed to participate in the final and make-up exams of the Fall Semester of the 2019-2020 Academic Year for once only.
