Our Bucak Business Faculty was established with the decision published in the Official Gazette on 20/08/2015, according to the additional 30th article of the law numbered 2809 of the Council of Ministers dated 28/03/1983. In the meeting of the Higher Education General Assembly dated 31/03/2016, the Business Department was opened within our faculty in accordance with the relevant letter of the Presidency of the Higher Education Council, the 7/d-2 and 7/h articles of the law numbered 2547 changed with the law numbered 2880, the 4th article of the law numbered 3843, the 6th article of the law numbered 2809 and the Principles to be Followed in Foreign Language Teaching and Teaching with Language in Higher Education Institutions.
Education and training started by admitting 80 students each to the Business Department in the 2016-2017 Academic Year for formal and secondary education. In the 2019-2020 Academic Year, education and training started with 60 students in the Public Relations and Promotion Department, and in the 2020-2021 Academic Year with 40 students in the Economics and Finance Department.
In the four-year undergraduate program of the faculty, students take theoretical and practical courses suitable for their areas of expertise in the first years of their education. Before graduating, in the last 1 year of their education, they receive Professional Training in Businesses (6+2 Education Model) for two terms to see the applications they want to improve themselves or are interested in their professions. Thus, graduate students have the opportunity to reinforce the knowledge and experiences they gained during their education with practical trainings they will do in public/private institutions and organizations, and to improve their knowledge and skills.
For students who want to continue to postgraduate education after undergraduate education, the Public Relations and Promotion Master's Program with Thesis was opened in the 2023-2024 Academic Year. The relevant program continues its education and training processes.
